What started as an idea between friends who shared a passion for firearms has grown into one of the most trusted gun shops in Richmond, VA.
New American Arms was founded with a simple goal: create a true local gun shop—one where customers feel welcome, supported, and treated like part of the community. As demand grew, so did the vision. After expanding from a small operation into a retail space, it quickly became clear that Richmond needed more than just another gun store—it needed a place built on expertise, service, and experience.
Today, located on West Broad Street, New American Arms serves Richmond and Central Virginia with a full range of firearms, accessories, and services. Our team is made up of highly skilled professionals, including some of the most experienced gunsmiths and instructors in the region, bringing a level of knowledge and craftsmanship you won’t find just anywhere.
We offer modern firearms as well as vintage and collectible pieces, along with NFA items such as suppressors, short-barreled rifles, and more.
